Glade D. Hansen, age 82, passed away peacefully February 24, 1994, at Woodland Park Care Center, with his family at his side.
Born April 2, 1911, in Fountain Green, Utah, to Soren and Mary Ann Douglas Hansen. Married Lucille Anderson on August 31, 1935 in Fountain Green, Utah; their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Glade went to work at age 16 in the U.S. Mine at Bingham Canyon. He later worked for Kennecott Copper for 331/2 years as a brakeman until his retirement in October, 1975. He and his wife enjoyed fishing and traveling extensively.Survived by his wife, three sons, Bruce, Aspen, Colorado; LeRoy (Susan), South Jordan; and Robert (Debbie), Murray; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Della Bailey, sister-in-law, Corrine Hansen, both Salt Lake. Preceded in death by sister, Mabel, and four brothers, Ray, Merle, Eldon and Lloyd.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 1, 1994, 11 a.m., at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State St., where friends may call Monday 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday 10-10:45 a.m. Interment: Fountain Green Cemetery.
