The deadline for submissions for the Wayne Brown Institute's 10th annual Venture Capital Conference that will be held Feb. 9, 1995, is Nov. 14 at 5 p.m., according to Brad Bertoch, director.
Companies interested in submitting for the conference should send 12 copies of an expanded executive summary and $75 to the 1995 Utah Venture Capital Conference, Wayne Brown Institute, P.O. Box 2135, Salt Lake City, UT 84110-2135.Bertoch said the likely companies to make submissions are those early-stage firms with a strong management team that expect to do at least $20 million in annual sales after 5-7 years. Participants in the previous conference have raised more than $45 million, Bertoch said.
The expanded executive summary should include information about the company's purpose and business strategy, products or service, financial information, management and the market and marketing strategy.
