Because of a recent change in the majority ownership of BSD Medical Corp., 2188 W. 2200 South, several management changes have been announced.
The new chairman is Paul Turner, who also will be vice president of research and development and senior scientist. Steve Carwell will continue as president and chief executive officer.New members of the board will be Allen Farris, chief financial officer of the Nelson Bunker Hunt Liquidating Trust; S. Lewis Meyer, president and chief executive officer of Imatron; Gerhard Sennewald, president and chief executive officer of Medizin Technik GmbH, Munich, Germany; and J. Gordon Short, president and chief executive officer of Brevis Corp.
BSD develops and produces advanced hyperthermia systems for can-cer therapy.
