Arland L. Russon, 77, died Tuesday, October 29, 1996 in the Utah Valley Medical Center, Provo.

Born May 28, 1919 in Lehi, the son of Lott Erastus and Fern Jennette Brown Russon. Married Alice Beth Funk, November 21, 1951 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died August 16, 1987. He was a retired high school teacher in the Jordan School District. Army Veteran World War II. Member of the LDS Church and served a mission to the Northwestern States.He was scoutmaster for several years, and received the Silver Beaver award; Provo Temple worker. He enjoyed woodworking, auto mechanics, and genealogy.

Survived by two sons and one daughter, Thomas (Vaniece) Russon, American Fork; Richard Charles (Necia) Russon, Lehi; Mrs. (Ron) Jean Bernice Newbould, Centerville; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters, Stanford (Teresa) Russon; LaVell (Joan) Russon; and Mrs. Dean (Ivy) Worlton, Lehi; Mrs. Eloise Seamons, Logan. Preceded in death by Lisle (Margaret) Russon, Maynard (Christine) Russon, and Leland Russon.

Funeral services will be Saturday, 11 a.m. in the Wing Mortuary Chapel, 118 East Main, Lehi, where friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, one hour prior to services.

Burial in the Lehi City Cemetery.
