Willis Smith Hall, 80, passed away December 21, 1996 in the Franklin County Medical Center from complications of cancer.
He was born April 12, 1916, in Fairview, Idaho, to William Roy and Caroline Smith Hall. Willis, the fourth of seven sons, was raised in Fairview and attended school there and in Preston, Idaho, where he graduated from high school in 1934. He attended the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho, for one year.From 1937-1939 he served as an LDS missionary in the Northwestern States. In 1940 he married Meredith Bodily in the Logan LDS Temple. After spending one year on a farm in Fairview they bought a dairy farm in Lewiston, Utah, where they have lived for 56 years.
Funeral services will be at 12 noon, Tuesday, December 24th in the Lewiston 1st Ward Chapel, 10 South 1600 West, Lewiston, with services being conducted by Bishop Willard Jessop. Viewings will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday, December 21st, at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center, Logan and from 10-11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Leiston 1st Ward Church. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery.
