Lynn Steve Grantham passed away March 18, in American Fork Canyon doing what he loved most: enjoying the mountains, prospecting and working on his mining projects.

Born Oct. 9, 1951 to James Kirkman and Erlin Thornton Grantham in American Fork and was raised in American Fork and in Las Vegas, Nevada. He graduated from American Fork High School and attended University of Utah. He opened and operated his own business, Granny's Automotive in American Fork. He had a love for flying and earned his pilot's license in the Spring of 1995. He loved fine cars and was gifted in fixing and restoring them. He enjoyed the outdoors and riding horses. He married Judy Bezzant and had five children: Chariti, Misti, Holli, Jaimi and Lynsi.He later married Nancy Simpson and had one child, Stephani. On September 28, 1991 his marriage to Cynthia Daniels was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. They were blessed with two children, Thomas and Marissa. Steve had a great love for his family and the gospel. He had a special compassion for people.

Survived by his wife and his eight children; mother, Erlin Thornton Gappmayor and her husband, George; grandmother, Zella V. Thornton; brothers, Jerald, James and Donald Grantham; his sisters, Carolyn, Kaylynn and Sharon.

Funeral services Friday, March 22, 11 a.m. in the Alpine (Mountain Home) Chapel, 165 North 100 East, Alpine. Burial, American Fork Cemetery. Anderson & Sons Mortuary, Funeral Directors
