Tony-winning actress Bernadette Peters is engaged to marry stockbroker Michael Wittenberg.
The two met about nine months ago, said the Broadway star's agent, Judy Katz. They have not set a wedding date.It will be the first marriage for both Peters, 48, and Wittenberg, 34, and comes as Peters prepares for another first - a performance at the White House Rose Garden. She will sing April 2 for the president of Italy.
