Jill Allen, 24, of North Salt Lake City, Utah and former resident of Aberdeen, died Wednesday, August 28, 1996.
She was born on February 9, 1972 in American Falls, Idaho. Jill is the daughter of Andrea and Garry Myler, and Kenneth Reid Martinsen, who has preceded her in death. She graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1990 and attended Boise State University following graduation. She married Paul Christopher Allen on November 5, 1994 in Aberdeen, Idaho.Jill was a vibrant spirit, full of life. She was very outgoing, always happy and a joy to be with. She loved being with family and around little children. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was attending the International Institute of Hair in Bountiful and was close to graduating.
Jill is survived by her husband, Paul of North Salt Lake, Utah; her parents, Gary and Andrea Myler of Aberdeen, Idaho; one sister, Mikki (Scott) Smith of Spokane, Wash.; one brother, Marshal K. Martinsen of Aberdeen; mother and father-in-law, Theresa and Craig Jacobson of West Valley, Utah; sister-in-law, Ashley Jacobson and brother-in-law, Greg Allen, both of Salt Lake City; grandparents, Maurine Driscoll of Aberdeen; Doug Driscoll of American Falls; Reid and DeLila Martinsen of Soda Springs, Idaho; Donna and Elden Jacobson of Riverton, Utah and many family and friends.
The funeral service will be held Monday, September 2, 1996 at 11 a.m. at the Aberdeen LDS First Ward with Bishop E.W. Landvatter conducting. Visitation will be at the church, Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Interment will be at the Aberdeen Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Davis Mortuary, American Falls, Idaho.
