The Association for Mormon Letters (AML) has scheduled its annual conference for Feb. 1 in the Gore Building of Westminster College. All writers and readers of LDS literature are invited to attend and share their ideas and opinions.

The conference will run from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., with sessions on "Mormon Humor," "Mormon Folklore," "The Book of Mormon as Literature," "LDS Science Fiction" and other topics.Registration is $5. The lunch is $10 in advance, $15 at the door.

Speakers this year will include columnist Robert Kirby, editor and teacher Richard Cracroft and writer Kathryn Kidd.

Citations and cash awards for literary achievement during 1996 will also be given out at the luncheon. MaryJan Munger, winner of the 1995 Eisteddfod poetry competition, will be the featured speaker at the luncheon.
