THE THIRTEENTH FLOOR -- "Godzilla" filmmaker Roland Emmerich produced this science-fiction thriller about a programming genius who creates an alternate reality on a computer chip -- one that becomes frighteningly real when he is accused of murder.

DICK -- Described by its producers as "historically challenged," this comedy is set in the Watergate-era White House, as two teens (Kirsten Dunst and Michelle Williams) meet President Richard Nixon when they wander away from their tour group.
DROP DEAD GORGEOUS -- Comedic pseudo-documentary following a town's obsession with its teenage talent competition. The ensemble cast includes Kirstie Alley, Ellen Barkin, Kirsten Dunst and Denise Richards.

DUDLEY DO-RIGHT -- Brendan Fraser ("George of the Jungle") plays another cartoon character in this live-action comedy, about the fearless but dimwitted mountie's efforts to stop the villainous Snidely Whiplash (Alfred Molina). Sarah Jessica Parker co-stars as Dudley's love interest, Nell.
EYES WIDE SHUT -- The exact plot is a well-kept secret, but late director Stanley Kubrick's final film stars real-life marrieds Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman as married psychologists studying sexual dysfunctions, at work and at home.

BOWFINGER -- Originally known as "Bowfinger's Big Thing," this comedy stars Steve Martin (who co-wrote the script as well) as a shady movie producer who stalks a big-name star (Eddie Murphy) just to get him in his next film.
THE HAUNTING -- Based on Shirley Jackson's novel "The Haunting of Hill House," as well as the 1963 movie of the same name, this horror thriller stars Liam Neeson and Catherine Zeta-Jones as scientists studying a haunted house. Directed by Jan De Bont ("Speed").
INSPECTOR GADGET -- Live-action version of the kids cartoon about a robotic secret agent (played by Matthew Broderick). Joely Fisher co-stars as his creator/love interest and Rupert Everett plays the evil Dr. Claw.

THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT -- Perhaps the most-talked-about movie at this year's Sundance Film Festival is the ultra low-budget horror film about three student filmmakers who get lost in the Maryland woods while researching a legendary creature.
DEEP BLUE SEA -- "Jaws" on an even bigger scale, this thriller stars Samuel L. Jackson as a scientist who has to fight off a horde of superintelligent predators during a disastrous at-sea storm. Directed by Renny Harlin ("The Long Kiss Goodnight").
THE FIGHT CLUB -- Filmmaker David Fincher "Seven," "The Game") turns to drama with this tale of a do-gooder (Oscar nominee Edward Norton) who befriends a brawler (Brad Pitt). Helena Bonham Carter co-stars.
MUPPETS FROM SPACE -- The late Jim Henson's beloved creations return to the big screen for this comedy/adventure about Gonzo's efforts to find his parents -- a search that takes him and his friends to outer space.
OUTSIDE PROVIDENCE -- Coming-of-age drama based on the novel by one of the filmmaking Farrelly brothers. Shawn Hatosy ("The Faculty") stars as a teen who's life changes drastically when he's sent to prep school. Alec Baldwin co-stars as his abusive father.
RUNAWAY BRIDE -- Not a sequel to the 1990 smash "Pretty Woman," but this romantic comedy reunites stars Richard Gere and Julia Roberts, as well as director Garry Marshall, in a tale about a reporter (Gere) on the trail of an unrepentant heartbreaker (Roberts).

THE IRON GIANT -- Warner Bros.' first non-musical animated feature is this science-fiction adventure film about the friendship between a young boy and the title character, a huge robot of extraterrestrial origins. Voice actors include Jennifer Aniston, Cloris Leachman and Harry Connick Jr.
LAKE PLACID -- Efforts to stop a huge killer alligator brings a game warden (Bill Pullman), a paleontologist (Bridget Fonda) and an animal behaviorist (Oliver Platt) together in this thriller, which was written by Ally McBeal creator David E. Kelley.
THE MYSTERY MEN -- Action-comedy starring Ben Stiller, Hank Azaria, William H. Macy and Janeane Garofalo as an unconventional superhero team trying to save the world. Geoffrey Rush and Greg Kinnear co-star. Based on stories from the cult "Flaming Carrot" comic books.

DETROIT ROCK CITY -- Members of the reunited rock group KISS play themselves in this '70s-period road comedy about teens (including Natasha Lyonne and Edward Furlong) who try to sneak into a sold-out concert by the band.
MICKEY BLUE EYES -- Hugh Grant stars as the title character of this romantic comedy, an art dealer who tries to act tough to impress his girlfriend's father (James Caan), a mafioso leader. Jeanne Tripplehorn co-stars.
MR. ACCIDENT -- Australia's equivalent of Pauly Shore, Yahoo Serious, wrote, directed and stars as the title character of this comedy, which takes him everywhere from an egg factory to outer space.
