OGDEN/MAYFIELD,UTAH--Eula Fjeldsted Larson, 84, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 1999, in Ogden, Utah, from cancer. Eula was born October 20, 1914, in Centerfield, Utah, a daughter of Richard A. and Amanda Jensen Fjeldsted.
She attended school in Centerfield and graduated from Gunnison Valley High School. Eula married Byron John Larson, September 30, 1935, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death, August 5, 1963.Eula was an active member of the LDS Church where she served in many church callings.
Although Eula suffered from many health problems she always kept a positive happy outlook on life. Eula was very talented in home making skills and enjoyed crocheting. She loved spending time with her family and spent many hours playing games with her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by one son and one daughter, Arlo B. (Darlene) Larson, Cedar City; Glenna Rae (Art) Carpenter, Ogden; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; Eula is also survived by three sisters, Naomi Jensen, Mayfield; Mary Hermansen, Gunnison; Dale Westphal, Placerville, CA. She is preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Beth Ann; parents; two brothers, and one sister.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 20, 1999, at 11 a.m. in the Mayfield LDS Ward Chapel where friends may call on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Mayfield Cemetery. Funeral directors, Magleby-Jensen Mortuary, Salina and Gunnison. Eula requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the LDS Missionary Fund.
