OFFENSE: The Cougars bounced back from a scoreless first half to score 19 in the second half against one of the nation's worst defensive teams. BYU coughed up four turnovers and gained a modest 353 total yards. GRADE: C-

DEFENSE: BYU forced five Wyoming turnovers and allowed just one score. Of course, it helped that quarterback Jay Stoner, who killed the Cougars a year ago, was knocked out of the game with an ankle injury in the third quarter. BYU gave up only 237 yards of total offense. GRADE: A-

SPECIAL TEAMS: Once again, kicker Owen Pochman made things interesting. His 48-yard field goal in the third quarter bounced off the crossbar and through the uprights, giving the Cougars the lead for good. Punter Aaron Edmunds had another fine game, averaging 43 yards per kick and placed one inside the 20. GRADE: B+
