LAYTON — The Layton Hills Mall will celebrate the grand opening of its new food gallery on Friday, Aug. 4, and Saturday, Aug. 5, with a variety of special events.
The gallery is a 20,000-square-foot area with 12 food retailers, 160 tables and a 330-person seating capacity. McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, Mrs. Field's Cookies, Chinese Gourmet, Sbarro's, Sansei, NanchoFast and OJDQ are some of the food outlets that will be served by this new food court, allowed patrons a sit-down dining experience.
Other features will include an outdoor seating area, children's eating area and large restrooms.
A ribbon cutting and grand opening gala will be held Aug. 4, from 5-8 p.m.
Prizes and coupons will be available to the public on Aug. 5, starting at 10 a.m. The mall will offer musical entertainment and other prize giveaways from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
The Layton Hills Mall is located on the east side of I-15, between I-15 freeway exits 334 and 335.
