Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister unexpectedly left her earthly existence on February 14, 2001.

Connie was born on June 7, 1942 in Park City, Utah to John and Viola Hollands. She grad-uated from South High School.

She married her lifelong sweetheart, Mark Nielsen on June 3, 1960. Their mar-riage was later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on

Oct. 2, 1961. They recently celebrated their 40th anniversary with a Caribbean Cruise. She was a devoted companion to her husband and a wonderful example to their four boys. She managed to do this while maintaining a working career, most of which was spent with her friends at the West Valley City Third Circuit Court.

She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Connie gained enjoyment out of the simple things life had to offer. A garden full of tulips and roses, her monthly "Club" meetings with her close friends, a sale just too good to pass up, and animals of all kinds. She loved to travel to sunny destinations where she could enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of a camp-side chair. Her favorite song was the beautiful melody from a springtime bird. Her favorite thing in life though, was anytime she could get her family together so that she could watch her children and grandchildren play.
