Jay Nordlinger, managing editor of the National Review, has won the third annual Eric Breindel Award for Excellence in Journalism, named for the New York Post editorial-page editor who died in 1998. Rupert Murdoch, News Corp. chairman, presented Nordlinger with the $10,000 award this week. "We're very proud that he graduated from the Weekly Standard to the National Review," Murdoch said.
