Pacific WebWorks Inc. has relocated its wholly owned subsidiary, Intellipay Inc., from Fremont, Calif., to Pacific WebWorks' Salt Lake headquarters.
Kenneth W. Bell, Pacific WebWorks chief executive officer, said the move will help the company centralize business development and marketing activities for both companies and will lead to "significant" cost savings.
Former IntelliPay president and CEO Tom Hill decided to stay in Silicon Valley and pursue other career opportunities. He also resigned his post on the Pacific WebWorks board of directors. IntelliPay's chief technology officer, DJ Holub, will remain with the company.
Pacific WebWorks engineers business software for the Internet based on its proprietary source code. IntelliPay develops and provides credit card payment gateway technologies.
