- Our beloved son, brother, grandson, great grandson and friend, Nicholas Edward Ivester, 16, returned to his Heavenly Father on January 12, 2003.
He was born February 9, 1986 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Patricia A. Markland and Thomas J. Ivester.
He attended North Summit High School. He loved hunting and camping, riding his ATV and will be missed by his dog, Buddy. He was a hard worker and worked since he was 13 years old. He loved his family and friends and his humor and wit will be missed.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Markland; father, Thomas Ivester; brother, Mitchell Ivester; grandparents, Stan and Jan Markland; grandmother, Alda Ivester; great grandmothers, Ruby Markland and Elsie Kunkle; uncles, Rod Markland (Jamie) and Charles Ivester; cousins, Charles, Matthew, Anthony, Christopher, Jessica, Ashley; and step brother and sister, Ryan and Ashley
He was preceded in death by two uncles, Steven and Gary Markland; grandfather, Thomas Ivester, Sr.; great grandfathers, Forrest J. Markland and Harold Kunkle.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 16, 2003 at 12 Noon in the Henefer Chapel. Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the church.
Dedication of the Grave will be at Valley View Cemetery in West Valley City, at 3 p.m.
