1939 ~ 2003

Edith May Broadhead Booth passed away September 29, 2003, surrounded by her loving family and friends, following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born May 3, 1939 in Heber City, UT, the daughter of Rulon George and Jessie May Broadhead. Edith grew up and attended school in Heber Valley. Married Dennis D. Booth August 16, 1957. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Edith's greatest love was her family and bingo. Edith was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her life was dedicated to bringing up her family and making sure they were all taken care of.

Survived by her children, Susan Balfour, Tammy Thompson, Rick, James R. and Randy (Tyra), 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and sister Louise (Jim) Lauber. She was preceded in death by both parents, stepfather Hal Mecham, father-in-law James Booth, her loving husband Dennis D. Booth, granddaughter Becky Booth, grandson James R. Booth Jr., brothers Wayne and Ray Broadhead.

Service will be held Friday, October 3, 2003 11 a.m. at Tate Mortuary, 110 So. Main Street, Tooele, Utah. A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2003 at Tate Mortuary from 6 to 8 p.m. and 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to the funeral services. Interment Tooele City Cemetery.
