Wretha Leona Cullip, age 85, passed away on November 30, 2003 in American Fork, UT.
She was born July 9, 1918 in Falls City, OR to Pern Lewis and Ada Mae Lewis. She attended Fresno, CA High School. She outlived her four husbands, Bill Speckman, Harvey DeVelbiss, Lloyd Dafter and Herschel Cullip.
Wretha was an accomplished seamstress. She enjoyed reading and traveling, visiting nearly every state in the U.S. Wretha was a quiet, loving, giving person who relished her time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her sweet, uncomplaining disposition was a value taught and shared with all who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever remain in the minds and hearts of her friends and family.
Preceded in death by her four husbands, Bill Speckman, Harvey DeVelbiss, Lloyd Dafter, Herschel Cullip; daughter Norma Jean Speckman, son Harvey E. DeVelbiss, parents Pern and Ada Mae Lewis, sister June Mulnix and brothers Lavon Lewis, Norman Lewis and Caroll Lewis. Survived by daughters Edna Speckman Gaub (Jack), Joyce DeVelbiss Chandler (Cliff), sons Robert and Jim Speckman, brother Kenneth Lewis (June), 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grand-children.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 3rd at 10 a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park South Valley, 13001 South 3600 West Riverton, UT.
