At center, Ingeborg Zielinski-Reni, Miss Curacao 1973 (living now in Provo), talks about her native country, a tiny island off Venezuela, at BYU Worldfest. Her daughter Angelica helps at right. When officials in Curacao heard that Zielinski-Reni's daughter wanted items for a school project at Provost Elementary, they sent boxes of materials. Angelica, her mother and aunt decided to set up a booth at BYU to educate more people about the island. Along with neighboring Bonaire and three islands in the eastern Caribbean, Curacao forms the Netherlands Antilles, an autonomous part of the Netherlands. Locals are Dutch nationals.
