Died in Salt Lake City, Utah, January 25, 2004 at age 83 from a pulmonary disease.

Born Nov. 28, 1920, Salt Lake City to Robert G. and Mary Wills DeLaMare. Married: Stevens Woodrow Pederson, May 7, 1947, in the Salt Lake Temple.

Survivors: husband, "Woody"; children: Kathleen (Clynn) Whitworth, Kristine (Ken) Giles, Yvonne (Tom) Krause, Steven (Andrea) Pederson, Quintin (Sandy) Pederson, Liz (Gillis) Onyeabor; sister, Gwen McLane; 28 grandchildren, six great-grand-children.

Active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Served in all auxiliaries: teachers aid in Primary at age 13, teacher, counselor in presidencies, Relief Society president two years, missionary in Eastern States Mission (1945-46). Active in drama from earliest years, youth training from Luacine Clark Fox, ward and stake drama director several times.

Professional: KSL sound effects technician and actress in "Miss Annie's Story Telling Time" (1941-45), B.Y.U. Motion Picture Studio: scriptwriter, editor and actress. Writer and editor (Brite Music and freelance). Acting appearances in many radio, television, and motion picture productions, and commercials.

An artist, she preferred portraiture in charcoal and oils. As an actress and singer, she appeared in several musicals and also with the San Jose (California) Grand Opera Company. Before and during professional acting, she appeared in many local theatre productions.

Her greatest achievement and joy, she felt, was raising six wonderful children.

Funeral Services Friday, Jan. 30, 2004 11:00 a.m. at Deseret Mortuary 36 E. 700 S., Salt Lake City, Utah. Viewing will be held Thurs., January 29th 6-8 p.m. and 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. before the services. Both at the mortuary. Interment Sat., January 31, 2004 at Fairview, Utah cemetery, 12:00 noon.
