1931 ~ 2004

Our loving mother, Hazel Marie Rosner McGinty Ahl Goodson, the genealogist of our family for many years has been promoted to continue her genealogy, with the help of the Lord for eternity on March 22, 2004.

Our beautiful mother was born in Liberal, Kansas, July 23, 1931 to Clarence Oliver and Augusta Barbara Nass Rosner. Her love of genealogy began at an early age and has never faltered. Many of our family vacations became a hunt for names for the family tree. She has devoted her life to finding the many leaves on the branches of our family tree.

Our mother will be reunited with her son, John; a grandson, Todd; a loving husband, Sidney; her parents; two of her siblings; and many other family members, that she has dedicated her life tying to the family tree.

Missing her and holding her in our hearts, her husband, William Goodson; a brother, John (Barbara) Rosner. Her beloved children; Michael (Marilyn) McGinty; Barbara (Kevin) Alcorn; Susan (Dale) Robinson; David (Brenda) McGinty; Cathie (Tom) Dansie; Libby (Abe) Craig; and Julia (Daryll) Orgill. She will be missed deeply by 24 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, countless beloved friends and a honorary daughter Dr. Carolyn Forbes.

Very special thanks for the many home visits Dr. Forbes made any time the need arose. Thanks to Rocky Mountain Hospice for all the love and support they so freely gave to our mother and our family in her final days. The family wants to give our sincere heartfelt gratitude to Cathy, Tom, Jake, and Jenni for all of the generous care they provided our mother throughout her many years of illness.

Mom, you overcame so many obstacles, struggles, and challenges in your life, but still remained our shoulder to cry on, our strength, and our "go to person." If the need arose you were always there. That's why we are so glad that you are our mom. We love you dearly and will miss you and know that your arms are always around us.
