Brad Cotter's life has been in the fast-forward mode since winning the "Nashville Star" reality TV show earlier this year.
His first major label CD, "Patient Man," was released Tuesday.
"It just goes to show the power of reality TV," said the 33-year-old singer, who was named winner of the USA Network show on May 1.
"Nashville Star" combines country music with reality television by placing contestants in a wired house on Music Row in Nashville, Tenn., as they compete for a recording contract with Sony Music Nashville.

"I'd been knocking on doors and turned down for the last seven or eight years. Then comes 'Nashville Star' and things start happening so fast I can hardly keep up," Cotter told the Opelika-Auburn (Ala.) News recently.
