This year's Sundance Film Festival runs Jan. 20-30 in a variety of locations in Park City and Salt Lake City, as well as in Ogden and at the Sundance resort.
Individual screening and events tickets for the 2005 festival are on sale now.
In addition to the independent-film showcase and competition, this year's event will include panel discussions, an online festival, a music cafe and the closing-night awards ceremony.
For general information on the festival, call 328-3456. For ticket prices and availability, call the main festival box office, 877-733-8497, or go online to www.sundance.org.
Festival guides with full movie listings and schedules are available at all ticket locations, including:
Salt Lake City: The Broadway Centre Cinemas, the Sundance Catalog Outlet, the Tower Theatre and Trolley Square.
Park City: Cinemark at Holiday Village, the Eccles Theater, the Egyptian Theatre, the Gateway Center, the Kimball Arts Center, the Park City Chamber of Commerce offices, the Park City Library Center, the Park City Racquet Club, the Park City Visitors Center, Prospector Lodge and Conference Center, and the Yarrow Hotel.
There is also an online version of the festival guide at the Web site.
Tickets for the Opening Night premieres in Park City and Salt Lake City are $15. Tickets for all other screenings and panel discussions are $10.
Though the number of movies showing at the festival is about the same as last year, there are more screening opportunities and a pair of new screening venues.
Replacing the now-defunct Trolley Corners Cinemas in Salt Lake City are the Regency Trolley Square Cinemas, just across the street.
And the Park City Racquet Club, which has hosted the festival's closing-night award ceremony for years, will become a full-time screening venue.
