O'Brien welcomes the birth of his second child, a son

Conan O'Brien and his wife, Liza Powel O'Brien, have had their second child.

NBC announced Thursday that the "Late Night" host welcomed son Beckett into the world Wednesday evening at a weight of 8 pounds and 4 ounces.

"Mother, baby and father are all well," the statement said.

O'Brien, 42, and Powel have been married since 2002. Their first child, daughter Neve, was born in 2003.
