Vehix.com has promoted Derek Mattsson to chief executive officer. Mattsson previously served as the company's president and chief operating officer. He replaces company founder John Garff, president and COO of Garff Enterprises, who will now serve as president. Both will continue to serve on Vehix.com's board of directors.

Bullfrog International has promoted Cory Pulham to parts supervisor. This is a new position created by the company. Pulham previously served as Bullfrog's dealer support representative.

The Salt Lake law firm of Kirton & McConkie announced the addition of Jed K. Burton to its real property section and Ryan B. Frazier to its business litigation section. The firm now has 86 lawyers.

Destination Healthcare Staffing, a division of CompHealth Group, announced two staff promotions. Ginny Sorenson was promoted to vice president. She held various management positions with other CHG divisions and has been with the company since 1996. Tom Thoits was promoted to manager of operations. Thoits has been with Destination Healthcare since shortly after its launch in 2003. Most recently, he served as placement manager.

Bryan Wrigley has joined Wasatch Property Management Inc. as senior vice president of Wasatch Acquisitions, a division of the Logan-based real estate development company. Wrigley is a graduate of the University of Utah and Columbia University. Over the next two years, he is expected to acquire $200 million in real estate and participate in the sale of $150 million of the company's existing portfolio.

Forsgren Associates Inc. announced two staff promotions. Clarence Kemp was named vice president/principal civil engineer. A 22-year veteran of the company, Kemp will direct and develop civil engineering projects across the company. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University. Rudd Conover was named division manager for Forsgren's Salt Lake regional office. Conover has 21 years of experience in civil, mechanical, structural and architectural design for wastewater and water treatment projects across the Western United States.

MassMutual Financial Group announced two new hires. Brett Bunker has seven years of experience in the financial services industry. He is a graduate of the U. Mark J. Workman has worked in the financial industry for more than seven years. He attended California State University and Chapman University.

Dunn Associates, a Salt Lake-based consulting structural engineering firm, recently hired Paul W. McMullin as a senior project engineer. McMullin has more than six years of engineering and management experience. He is a graduate of the U., where he earned undergraduate, master's and Ph.D. degrees in engineering.

Nu Skin, the personal care division of Nu Skin Enterprises, has appointed Melisa Tantoco Quijano as vice president of global marketing. She will oversee all aspects of marketing for the division, including new product development, building brand awareness and developing the company's product education program. Quijano has more than 25 years of international marketing and direct sales experience. She has been with Nu Skin for the past eight years.

Randall Bachman was named executive director for Cornerstone Counseling Center in Salt Lake City. He has more than 30 years of experience in human services in the government and private nonprofit sectors and has served as director or executive director at two other Utah mental health counseling centers. He is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and the University of Missouri.

Seattle-Northwest Securities Corp. announced it has hired Terry Flynn as vice president of the firm's subsidiary, SNW Asset Management. Flynn will be based in the firm's Utah office and will be responsible for clients in the Southwestern United States and California. He has more than 22 years of experience in the management of fixed-income portfolios.

Jon L. Penman has joined First Community Mortgage as senior mortgage loan officer. Penman has served in the mortgage loan industry in Salt Lake City for more than 15 years. At First Community, Penman will specialize in conventional, government and niche product residential loans. First Community Mortgage is a division of First State Bank.

CH2M Hill announced that Drury Whitlock has joined the firm as project manager in its global water business group. Whitlock has more than 12 years of experience in designing and managing water and wastewater treatment facilities and will serve CH2M Hill's clients in the Southwestern United States.

Curtis W. Dowdle was appointed director of sales and marketing for SunCrest, a master planned community in Draper. Dowdle most recently served as SunCrest's estate homesite sales manager. He was initially retained by SunCrest in 2003 as an advertising and marketing consultant.

Dr. Renato Saltz, a Utah plastic surgeon, was named secretary of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, a national organization of board-certified plastic surgeons specializing in cosmetic surgery of the face and body. Saltz received his medical degree from the Universidade Federal Rio Grande do Sul School of Medicine in Brazil. He completed his plastic surgery residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Julia Partain was named communications coordinator at Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort. Partain will assist in the creation of press materials, host local, national and international media and facilitate press coverage of Snowbird events. She is a graduate of the U.

Tom Gocke has joined Ogio International Inc. as national sales manager of Ogio's golf division for the Western region. Gocke is a former professional golfer and golf instructor. He will work from Ogio's Bluffdale headquarters, as well as his existing office in Washington.
