"The Motorcycle Diaries," the tale of revolutionary Che Guevara's life-changing 1950s journey across Latin America, swept top honors at the Imagen Awards in Beverly Hills, Calif., including best picture, director and supporting actor.

The film, based on Guevara's diaries of his 1952 trip with Alberto Granado, also garnered Jose Rivera the Norman Lear Writer's Award.

The show Friday honored contributions by and about Latinos and Latino culture.
