Obituary: Ruby Crook Stevenson

Ruby Crook Stevenson 1916 ~ 2005 Ruby M. Crook Stevenson, 88, passed away peacefully June 30, 2005, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Ruby was born August 27, 1916 in Santaquin, Utah to Charles and Alvera Johnson Crook. She attended local schools and graduated from Payson High. In 1934 she married Cleland L. Stevenson in Santaquin, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Jordan River LDS Temple. Ruby enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved fishing, hunting, camping, family dinners, and her special homemade apple pies. Ruby is survived by her loving children, Monte (Pamela), and Jerry L. (Lynne) Stevenson; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband. Graveside services for Ruby will be held Wednesday July 6, 2005, 12 noon at the Santaquin City Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive.
