BYU senior quarterback John Beck was named the Walter Camp Football Foundation national offensive player of the week Sunday.

Beck completed 28-of-43 passes for 375 yards and four touchdowns, including a game-winning 11-yard pass with no time remaining, as No. 21 BYU defeated Utah, 33-31. Beck threw scoring tosses of 36, 4, 2 and 11 yards to lead the Cougars, who finished the regular season with a 10-2 record, 8-0 in the Mountain West.
