A man who was shot multiple times outside a convenience store Saturday is paralyzed and the shooter faces an attempted criminal homicide charge.

Noel Munoz Lopez, 18, was charged in 3rd District Court Wednesday for shooting 20-year-old Alex Dutton with a .45-caliber handgun at least twice.

Court documents state the two began fighting inside a 7-Eleven store at 960 W. North Temple at about 12:30 a.m. They took the fight outside, where Lopez fired the gun five or six times, hitting Dutton.

An accomplice, who was charged with obstructing justice, provided the getaway car for Lopez. They were seen by police leaving the scene and were arrested.
