Chad Salisbury threw seven touchdown passes to help the Grand Rapids Rampage beat the Nashville Kats 71-55 on Saturday night in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Salisbury was 27-of-37 for 282 yards, and Timon Marshall led the Rampage (3-6) in receiving with 10 catches for 104 yards and a touchdown and also ran for a score. Kenny Soloman had five catches for 96 yards and three TDs.
Jeff Smoker threw six touchdown passes and also ran for a score for the Kats (4-6). Kenny Higgins had 12 catches for 165 yards and three touchdowns, and Cornelius Bonner finished with 10 catches for 149 yards and three TDs.
BRIGADE 53, SOUL 41: At Philadelphia, Raymond Philyaw threw six touchdowns passes, and Charles Frederick scored four times to lead the Kansas City Brigade to a 53-41 victory over the Philadelphia Soul on Saturday night in the Arena Football League.
Philyaw was 36-of-41 for 364 yards, and Frederick had with nine catches for 109 yards and two touchdowns and ran eight times for 15 yards and two scores. Jerel Myers led the Brigade (5-4) in receiving with 11 catches for 108 yards and a TD.
Juston Wood threw five TD passes and also ran for a score for the Soul (4-5). Charles Pauley had nine catches for 147 yards and two touchdowns.
