Saturday, Sept. 1

Softball Tournament, at 8 a.m. (male competition). At the Hillman complex, 955 S. Main. One day of play guaranteed three games. Cost: $200 for sanctioned team.; $225 for non-sanctioned teams. Registration day of or call earlier at 465-6031 to guarantee spot.

Book Fair at the library on Historic Main Street, 66 S. and Historic Main Street from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Free.

Gold Medal Mile at7 a.m. at Dry Creek Trail, 1250 S. Main Free

Firefighter's Open House from 9 a.m.-noon at the Fire Station 100 E. 100 South. Free.
