SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — The No. 2 Snow College football team continued its winning ways with a 35-7 road victory over Scottsdale Community College Saturday.

The Badgers took a 28-0 lead into halftime and cruised to the easy win over the conference foe.

"We had a great first half," said coach Steve Coburn. "When you are on the road, it's important to jump out to an early lead."

The win moved the Badgers to 6-0, and after back-to-back road games, Snow will be at home for two straight weeks. The Badgers are 28-2 in their last 30 games.

Scottsdale was held to minus 34 yards rushing, and 127 total yards. The lone Scottsdale score came on an interception return for a touchdown. Snow recorded nine sacks in the contest.

"Our defense really came out and played a great game," said Coburn. "They stepped up and played tough. When they play like that, we are really tough to beat."
