Lita L. Strelow
1937 ~ 2008
Lita Wardle Strelow, 70, our loving mother, grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully Feb. 1, 2008. She was born Sept. 1, 1937 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Verda Elora Allred and William Wallace Wardle.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William (Bill) Strelow and precious dog Scrappy.
Lita had many challenges in this life, but faced them with love, laughter, and faith. She was an amazing and talented lady who found beauty in everyone and everything around her. Lita was blessed with an angelic voice and sang professionally. She also loved sewing, floral and jewelry design, and playing the piano and guitar. She also spent many hours writing. Lita was truly a precious spirit born before her time.
Lita is survived by: her son, Jack Marty (Peggy); daughters, Ramona Naccarato and Tawny (Paul) Facer; sister, Ruby (Lowell) Estes; 11 grandchildren and two great-grand-children.
Funeral services will be held on Fri. February 8, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. at Camp Williams, 17111 S. Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, followed by interment.
A Celebration of Lita's life will be held at Gerald Wright Senior Complex, 3375 W. 3650 S., West Valley City at 1:30 p.m. Please join us in remembering her special spirit.
