HIGHLAND — Ashly Delgrosso Costa has a full plate.
Her second baby is due in July.
She's busily designing new pieces for her "Choreography" jewelry line.
And she may be partnered with Donny Osmond for the fall season of "Dancing With The Stars."
In town briefly for a judging stint at Center Stage Studios in Orem, Costa said no one knows who will be the stars of the next season until just prior to the taping.
But she acknowledged that a dancing gig with Osmond would certainly push her to get back into shape after a summer delivery.
Osmond has been vague about his plans to appear on the popular television show that partners a celebrity with a dancer. In late January, Osmond said he was "seriously considering" dancing on the show but wasn't in the lineup announced earlier this month. Marie Osmond previously competed on the show.
Costa danced three seasons on the show, appearing with rap star Master P and actors Joey McIntyre and Harry Hamlin. She has been away as a regular since she wed the show's field producer, Mike Costa, and started a family.
"I have a little boy, Ammon Michael," Costa said. "My second baby is due two days before his birthday on July 27."
In the meantime, Costa is keeping up with Ammon, staying in shape and designing a unique jewelry line that features pieces and gems that mix and match to fit the personality and plans of the wearer.
"Each set is a different dance," Costa said. "There's the Cha-cha, the Jive, the Samba and the Waltz. The Samba is the most popular. The Waltz line is the most classy."
The pieces — earrings, bracelets, necklaces and pendants — clip and hook onto each other in a variety of ways so a simple sterling silver daytime necklace can become a dazzling evening wear accessory, and vice versa.
The jewelry is available from the Web site crystalonyx.com.
Crystal Onyx business partners Shanda Gallagher and Elizabeth Walker approached Costa with the idea, and Costa was taken with the concept.
"I came up with the name and I pick every color for each set. I love it," Costa said. "It's all real. There's nothing fake about any of it but it's not terribly expensive."
The jewelry line has been on the market now for a year, and Costa is encouraged about its future.
"It's a little slow given the economy, but we're selling it at competition and events like that," Costa said. "It's a different way of wearing jewelry. It's something fresh."
Look for her to be wearing some of it this fall on the show, perhaps on the arm of Donny.
