Marc Wilson, 1977-79: Wilson, from Seattle, Wash., was a consensus All-American in 1979 and finished third in the Heisman Trophy balloting that same season. He also won the Sammy Baugh Trophy in 1979, a year in which he led the nation in total offense (3,580 yds) and set 19 NCAA passing and total offense records. His college career got off to a fast start when he took over for an injured Gifford Nielsen his sophomore year and threw for 332 yards and seven TDs in his first game as a starter. In 32 career games at BYU, Wilson (6-foot-5) threw for 7,637 yards and 61 TDs. He was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1996.
Wilson was a first-round pick of the Oakland Raiders in 1980 and played 10 seasons in the NFL, throwing for 14,391 yards and 86 TDs. He's now a land developer in the Seattle area.
