She was born on February 17, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Wayne Grant Wardle and Betty Rae Smith Wardle. She loved spending time with her family and friends, sitting out at the pond, and traveling. She was also a loving foster mother to many. Together with her husband, she owned Star Grill and Theater in Huntington, Utah.Janice is survived by husband Percy W. Mounteer, children Percy Lee (Krista), J.B., siblings Sam, Sherry, Vern, Wayne, Bob, Joel, June, Lynn, grandchildren Krystal (Jose) Chitica, Holli (Kelly) Garvin, Ace (Lacey), Keisha, Jaden, Kaelie, Jorey, great-grandchildren Braxton, Jade, and many adored in-laws.Preceded in death by her parents and daughter Sammie.Graveside services 11 am Wednesday, October 9, at Mountain View Memorial Cemetery, 3115 E. 7800 S. Cottonwood Heights, UT. A celebration of life will be held 11 am Saturday, October 12, at Town Hall on Main Street in Huntington, Utah.In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations to the Janice Mounteer Medical Fund at Wells Fargo Bank.
