"Accio," Harry Potter fans.
The first official teaser trailer to J.K. Rowling's "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" was released Tuesday by Warner Bros. Pictures and quickly garnered hundreds of thousands of views within hours.
The trailer follows the story of Newt Scamander, played by Eddie Redmayne, a wizard from the 1920s who enters New York City with a suitcase of magical creatures. In the trailer, Porpentina Goldstein, played by Katherine Waterston, explains that some creatures have escaped after the suitcase was opened "just a smidge."
The movie is based on a book Rowling released in 2001 to raise money for a British charity. Although the movie is set several decades before Harry Potter's time, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" was the title of one of Potter's textbooks.
The new movie will hit theaters Nov. 18, 2016.
