In honor of this week's release of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," cast members from the upcoming movie and the franchise's earlier films joined "Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon and the band The Roots to perform an a cappella tribute.

The medley video was posted Tuesday on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" YouTube channel.

Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie, Lupita Nyong'o, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford were among the Star Wars cast members made appearances in the video. The video also includes several stormtroopers, R2-D2, Chewbacca and C-3PO.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights on NBC.
