In a recent video, several children, some of whom can't even afford a Christmas tree, are proving they understand that giving is better than receiving.
In the video, children from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta are asked what they hope to receive for Christmas and what they think their parents might want for Christmas.
After being presented with both gifts, one for themselves and one for their parents, they are told they can only have one or the other. All of the children chose to forego their own gifts and keep the presents for their parents.
"Your family matters, not Legos, not toys, your family," one boy said in the video after quickly rejecting his own gift. "It's either family or Legos, and I choose family."
The video was posted Dec. 15 to UPtv's YouTube channel, where it has garnered 2.8 million views. UPtv provides uplifting entertainment and family friendly content.
