Bryce Romney, a member of Brigham Young University's male a cappella group Vocal Point, traveled thousands of miles with his sister Brooke to surprise their father, who is the president of the Dominican Republic Missionary Training Center, and their mother.
Bryce Romney posted a video Monday of the sibling's surprise visit. It has garnered more than 17,000 views on Facebook.
Below the Facebook video, Bryce Romney explained that his mother was worried about where her last two single children would spend Christmas this year. The two told her they would be with family in Arizona, but instead they traveled to the Dominican Republic.
In the video, the siblings knocked on their parents' door. Their father, President Brent Romney, was astounded to see them and exclaimed, "Oh my heavens!"
After surprising their father, Bryce and Brooke Romney waited for their mother, Ella Romney, to return from running errands. She was just as amazed and tearfully embraced her children.
President Romney has served as the president of the Dominican Republic MTC since January 2015. He and his wife are the parents of six children.
According to LDS.org, the couple formerly presided over the Mexico Monterrey West Mission.
