Utah Grizzlies head coach and General Manager Tim Branham announced Wednesday that the team has signed forward Brandon McNally.

The 6-foot-2 forward joins the Grizzlies after splitting last season between the Montreal Canadians’ AHL affiliate in St. John’s and their ECHL affiliate in Brampton. He had seven goals and six assists for 13 points in 48 games with St. John’s and had one goal and one assist in seven games with Brampton.

“Brandon plays the puck possession style game that we are looking for,” Branham said. “He is big, tough and plays hard. We are happy to have him.”

The 24-year-old Massachusetts native played four years collegiately at Dartmouth. McNally recorded 65 points (31 goals, 34 assists) and 196 penalty minutes in 105 games during college.

The Grizzlies open the season Friday and Saturday, Oct. 14 and 15, when they play host to Idaho at Maverik Center.

Season tickets for the 2016-2017 season along with group and holiday party packages are on sale now. Visit the Utah Grizzlies website or call for more information. Individual tickets go on sale in September.
