SALT LAKE CITY — The 189th Semiannual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was held Oct. 5-6 at the Conference Center, in the heart of the city that serves as headquarters of the global faith.
President Russell M. Nelson addressed the faithful in attendance in Salt Lake City and millions more around the world in homes and chapels. President Nelson, leader of the 16.3 million-member church, has traveled the globe over the past year meeting with Saints and world leaders in a yearlong call for unity.
