What happened: Someone released the bedbugs inside a men’s changing room, authorities told CNN.
- A manager at the store found a pill bottle with live bugs inside it.
- The bottle was found inside a boy’s jacket, which was available for purchase at the store, according to the Erie Times-News.
- Ecolab confirmed the bugs were bedbugs. An official with Ecolab said the bedbugs were crawling around the men’s changing room during the day, according to the Erie Times-News.
Reaction: A Walmart spokesperson said in a statement to CNN the company is looking into the matter.
