Marvel Studios released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.”

The trailer — which originally aired as a post-credits scene in “Spider-Man: No Way Home” — shows Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) trying to figure out what’s happening with the multiverse. He also links up with Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) to tackle the multiverse and the darkness it unleashes upon the world.

There has been so much hype for the “Doctor Strange” sequel. We’ve heard for awhile that it has ties to the Disney+ show “WandaVision,” which is now made clear by Wanda appearing in the trailer.

There has also been little hints about the film dropped along the way, specifically in the show “What If...?” and in “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” And don’t forget about how the events of “Loki” changed our perception of the multiverse and what might come from it.

Essentially, all of the recent Marvel projects seem to be leading up to this film. And now we have our first look at what to expect.
