For the third time since 2018, the NHL’s LA Kings played an exhibition game at Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City on Thursday night, this time facing the Las Vegas Golden Knights in the first of what will be a three-year series between the two sides in Utah.

The game, which is branded as part of the Kings’ “Frozen Fury” exhibition series, ended in a 3-1 win for LA. The Kings were up 2-0 entering the third period before Las Vegas pulled to within one, but LA sealed the deal in the closing minutes.
