Looking for a state where the population is heavily vaccinated? There are now reportedly 25 states — as well as one pretty important district — that have half of their population vaccinated against COVID-19.
Per CNN, there are 25 states in the United States that have fully vaccinated at least half of their adult population. The District of Columbia has also fully vaccinated half of its adults.
The 25 states include:

- Nebraska
- New Hampshire
- New Jersey

- South Dakota
- Vermont
- Virginia
- Washington
- Wisconsin
Maine has the highest vaccinated population with more than 62% of its adults vaccinated against COVID-19, according to CNN.
What about Utah?
About 36.6% of the Utah population was vaccinated as of Tuesday against the novel coronavirus, which includes children 12 years old and up.. About 13% of the Utah population has some level of immunity from having been infected with the coronavirus.
- It’s unclear how long immunity lasts for someone who was infected with COVID-19. Some reports suggest immunity dips at around six months.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about 61.3% of the U.S. adult population has received one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
