- McDonnell, who will write the Marvel Disney Plus series “WandaVision,” will pen the script.
- Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, who co-wrote the first film, “will not return to helm the sequel but are in talks to remain in the Marvel Universe and direct a possible Disney Plus series,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
- Marvel hopes to tap a female director for the film.
