Disney Plus is leaping into the new year with superhuman strength.
In January, the streaming service will add a bevy of new titles to its library — most notably “WandaVision,” which hits the platform on Jan. 15. The new program starring Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen is Marvel Studios’ inaugural series on Disney Plus, and after a year without a single Marvel film, MCU fans are itching for new content.
At Disney’s recent annual Investor Day presentation, Marvel Studios announced more than a dozen new projects that will be released on Disney Plus over the next few years. Fans and critics alike are eagerly awaiting the arrival of “WandaVision” as it could be a bellwether for future Marvel Studios programs.
But “WandaVision” isn’t the only noteworthy program hitting Disney Plus next month. January also welcomes films like “Mary Poppins Returns,” Wes Anderson’s 2018 stop-motion animated canine adventure “Isle Of Dogs” and the Dr. Seuss classic “Horton Hears A Who!” featuring the voices of Jim Carrey and Steve Carell.
