“Star Wars: The Mandalorian” will premiere its season finale for season 2 Friday morning, capping off what’s been a wild season of legends, new planets and dramatic battles.

Last week, the table was set for what’s going to be an epic finale. Last season, we saw something similar with all the hanging plot threads and character arcs coming together in a satisfying and heart-wrenching conclusion.

What will the episode be about?

Two weeks back, the Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal) lost Grogu (Baby Yoda) to the hands of Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito), who stole the young Yoda-like creature. The Mandalorian began assembling a crew to rescue Grogu, which included Cara Dune (Gina Carano), Fennec (Ming-Na Wen), Boba Fett (Temura Morrison) and Mayfield (Bill Burr). Mayfield was later let go to live on his own.

The Mandalorian warned Gideon at the end of the episode that he was going to come rescue Grogu. So we should expect to see the Mandalorian and his squad do just that — finding the imperial stronghold and seeking out Grogu. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Greef Karga (Carl Weathers) join the fray since Greef, Cara and Mandalorian have teamed up before. Outside chances exist for Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff) and Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) to join the battle, too.
